Elite Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu of Redmond offers a specialized training program for our Youth students who wish to compete in the sport of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Submission Grappling. The Elite BJJ Tournament Team is trained by Professor Miriam Cardoso who is a 5 time World Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu champion and 7 time Brazilian National Champion.
The competition training program builds on the training students receive in our BJJ classes to add specific techniques and skills to help students succeed in tournaments. This program will get into the specifics of strategies and techniques for competing in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Gi and No-Gi (Submission Grappling).The tournament team competes at local and regional tournaments including The Revolution, NAGA, Subleague, Proving Grounds, and others.
